                           Ready for the Next Step:

Transitioning from Therapy to Life Purpose Coaching

Congratulations to you! You persevered through therapy and now you are ready for your next step in your journey towards your life's purpose. While coaching and mental health therapy both contribute to personal development, they serve different purposes. Coaching is future-focused, aimed at goal achievement and accountability, while therapy addresses psychological blocks and past traumas. Together, they create a powerful synergy that enables you to overcome obstacles and move toward a fulfilling career aligned with your life’s purpose.

Life Purpose coaching is a transformative journey that helps you identify your passions, values, and strengths, guiding you towards a more meaningful life. Through personalized sessions, as your coach, I will support you in clarifying your goals and creating actionable plans that align your work with your  true purpose.

                                My Life Purpose Journey

I began my work life in the wrong career from the very beginning. I worked in the field of Telecommunications Engineering for almost 14 years. My career  started in the United States Air Force. I did not choose Electronics, but the mission of the Air Force came first, so that's where they placed me.  Knowing I didn't want to stay on this path, I enrolled in college while in the Air Force but eventually was told by a senior non-commissioned officer that I had to drop my classes because "the mission of the Air force comes first. That class I had to drop was Physics! Disappointed and angry,  I knew there was no way I was ever going to reach my goal of getting my college degree in the time frame I wanted to while serving in the USAF. I did not feel right staying in the Air force, knowing I was not whole-heartedly committed to "the mission". After all, the military's job is to defend our country, not for pursuing your dream career. I completed my 4 year term and was Honorably discharged.

To  provide for myself, I worked for just about every telecommunications company at the time.(Jumping from job to job is a sign you may not be in the right career) I got my Bachelor's degree in Information Systems since that was the easier path. My Air Force training classes were counted as college credits so I used them. Still I was not where I belonged. Eventually at the age of 30, I decided to hire a Career Coach while living in southern California. That was one of the best decisions I ever made for my life. I still use the wisdom I gained from that Career coach all those years ago.

She only helped me trust in what I have always known. I am a leader, businesswoman, and a coach and these paths have opened up a world of opportunities for me to express my true self. Empowered by the career coaching, I got my Masters in Business Administration(MBA) while living in California. Today I am content with the work that I do to move humanity forward. I am confident that I am walking in my purpose. I have been able to help countless individuals courageously take the necessary steps to live the life they were designed to live. Are you where you are supposed to be? How are you designed?
